KTP Laser
The KTP laser is an effective treatment for superficial vascular concerns, including small facial vessels, broken capillaries, and cherry angiomas on the face and body. The laser energy selectively coagulates the targeted blood vessels, causing them to collapse while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.
Over the following several weeks, your body naturally reabsorbs the treated vessels. Mild redness in the treatment area is normal and typically resolves within a few days.
Laser Hair Reduction
Laser hair reduction works by targeting the pigment within the hair follicle while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. Because hair grows in cycles, a series of treatments is necessary. Most patients require 5–7 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, depending on treatment area and individual hair growth patterns.
We can safely treat virtually all skin types and all areas of the face and body. Laser hair reduction is most effective on dark hair and is not effective for white, gray, blonde, or red hair due to the lack of pigment in these hair colors.
Moxi Laser
MOXI® is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser treatment that refreshes and rejuvenates the skin with minimal downtime. By creating controlled microchannels in the skin, MOXI stimulates collagen production and supports the skin's natural healing process while improving pigmentation, uneven skin tone, and overall skin quality.
Alexandrite Laser
This 755 wavelength laser can be used for laser hair reduction in lighter skin types.
YAG Laser
This 1064 wavelength laser is great for treating venous lakes and larger blood vessels. It can also be used for laser hair reduction in darker skin types.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is laser hair reduction?
Laser hair reduction is a cosmetic procedure that uses concentrated beams of light (lasers) to reduce unwanted hair growth. The laser targets the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicle and the heat from the laser damages the follicle, slowing or preventing future hair growth.
Is laser hair reduction permanent?
Laser hair reduction provides long-term hair reduction, not permanent hair removal. The laser targets and damages hair follicles that are actively growing, significantly reducing future hair growth. Because hair grows in cycles and some follicles can recover or become active later due to hormones, maintenance treatments may be needed over time.
Which areas of the body can be treated with laser hair removal?
Nearly every area, except the eyelid and surrounding area.
Is laser hair removal suitable for all skin types and hair colors?
Anyone with blonde, red, white/gray hair are not candidates for laser hair removal. We can, however, treat all skin types safely.
How many sessions are typically required for effective results?
Minimum 5-7 treatments are recommended for optimal outcome.
Is laser hair removal painful?
It can feel like an elastic snapping with each laser pulse. We do offer topical numbing cream to desensitize the area being treated.
Is there any downtime after a laser hair removal session?
No, you may return to normal activity after treatment.
What is laser treatment for veins?
A specific light wavelength that is attracted to the red color in vessels that heats and destroys them.
What types of veins can be treated with laser therapy?
Small red vessels on the face are most successfully treated.
Is laser vein treatment painful?
The pulses feel like a hot needle, however the treatment is very fast. Usually no longer than 15 minutes
How many sessions are typically required for laser vein treatment?
1-3 sessions
Are the results of laser vein treatment permanent?
Several treatments may be required as well as touch ups over time.
Are there any side effects associated with laser vein treatment?
Redness, swelling are common, risk of a slight depression, hyper or hypopigmentation are much less frequent.
