Injectables

Neuromodulators

Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify temporarily relax the facial muscles responsible for expression lines, helping to soften wrinkles and prevent new ones from forming. Common treatment areas include the forehead, frown lines, and crow’s feet for a refreshed, natural appearance.

Dermal Filler

Dermal filler is an injectable gel made of hyaluronic acid that can be used to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and smooth deeper lines. Common treatment areas include the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline and more while maintaining natural-looking results.

Sculptra

Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable that works gradually to restore facial volume and improve skin quality. Rather than improving immediate volume like traditional filler, it stimulates your body’s natural collagen production for subtle, long-lasting skin rejuvenation that develops over several months.

PRP

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a regenerative treatment that uses a concentrated portion of your own blood, rich in growth factors, to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. PRP can improve skin texture and tone, support collagen production and promote healthier, thicker hair when used for hair restoration.

Common treatment areas include undereye injections to improve undereye appearance as well as scalp injections to stimulate hair growth and improve hair density.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a neuromodulator?

Neuromodulators are injectable treatments that temporarily relax targeted facial muscles to soften existing expression lines and help prevent new wrinkles from forming. They are a purified protein derived from botulinum toxin strategically injected into specific muscles by our skilled providers.

What areas can be treated?

Neuromodulators are most commonly used to treat forehead lines, frown lines (“11s”), and crow’s feet. Other areas of treatment can include- jawline/lower face, lip flip, masseters, hands and armpits for sweating, traps for muscle tension and other medical and cosmetic concerns.

What's the difference between Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify?

While all three treatments work similarly by relaxing facial muscles, each has unique characteristics that may make it a better fit for certain patients- your provider will discuss your concerns and help determine which option may be best for you.

Botox - the most well-known albumin-based neuromodulator with decades of clinical use. Predictable, natural-looking results lasting about 3-4 months.

Dysport - also albumin-based product with natural-looking results lasting about 3-4 months and slightly faster onset of results.

Daxxify - features a unique peptide formulation free of human or animal derived ingredients. Designed for quick onset and longer-lasting results up to 6 months.

Will I still look natural?

Absolutely. Our philosophy is to enhance- not change- your appearance. When properly dosed and injected, neuromodulators soften lines while allowing you to maintain natural facial expression.

When will I see results?

Depending on the type of neuromodulator used, results can begin within 2-3 days after treatment, with full results generally seen within 10-14 days.

How long do results last?

Approximately 3-4 months with Botox and Dysport. Results may last slightly longer with Daxxify up to 4-6 months. As with any treatment, individual results may vary.

Are treatments painful? What is my downtime?

Most patients describe injections as a quick pinch. Treatments take about 10-15 minutes. Some bleeding/bruising may be common at the injection sites. We recommend no strenuous exercise or do not rub or constrict the treatment areas that day.

What is dermal filler?

Dermal filler is an injectable gel, made from hyaluronic acid (HA) that can help restore volume, soften wrinkles, enhance facial contours, and improve facial balance and proportions.

What areas can be treated with dermal filler?

Dermal filler can be used to enhance or restore volume in:

  • Lips
  • Cheeks
  • Chin
  • Jawline
  • Temples
  • Smile lines (nasolabial folds)
  • Marionette lines
  • Fine lines around mouth
  • Hands
  • Earlobes
Are treatments painful?

Most patients tolerate filler treatment very well. We use a topical numbing cream when appropriate and the filler we use contains lidocaine or mepivacaine to improve comfort during treatment.

How long does filler last?

Results vary depending on the product used, the treatment area, and your body’s metabolism. Most filler lasts 6-18 months, while some products can last up to 2 years.

When will I see my results?

Results are visible right away, although swelling may temporarily affect the appearance. Final results are typically settled and integrate into the treated areas within 2 weeks.

Who should not receive dermal filler?

Discuss alternative treatment options with your provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a known allergy to ingredients in the filler, have an active skin infection or cold sore in the treatment area, or have certain autoimmune or inflammatory conditions that require additional evaluation. A consultation will determine if treatment is right for you.

What is Sculptra?

Sculptra is an injectable biostimulator treatment made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Unlike traditional filler that adds immediate volume, Sculptra works by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production to gradually restore subtle facial volume and improve skin quality.

What areas can be Sculptra treat?

Sculptra is commonly used to improve:

  • Cheeks
  • Temples
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Jawline
  • Chin shadow
  • Preauricular hollowing (in front of ears)
  • Overall facial volume loss & skin laxity
When will I see results?

You’ll notice some immediate fullness from the sterile water used to prepare the product but this will subside within about a day or two. Your body will then gradually build collagen over the following 6-12 weeks, with results continuing to improve over several months.

How long does it last?

Results can last more than 2 years for many patients, although individual results may vary.

What is a good candidate?

Sculptra is an excellent option for patients who have age-related early facial volume loss; want gradual natural-looking rejuvenation, prefer collagen stimulation over immediate filling; and are looking for longer lasting results.

Sculptra should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection, have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scars, have certain autoimmune or inflammatory conditions. Sculptra may also not be as effective over the age of 60.
